In the middle of all the worlds noise

I heard you speak to me

You gave my idea's freshness every time you told me something new
Showed me many different things as you opened my eyes
Gave me feeling as you touched my life

With you I felt like everything was possible
I was ready, with you by my side
To take on the opposition and live through times killing spree

But than you got caught by one of life's stray bullets and was pulled from my arms

You were gone and everything I felt was gone with you
I stopped watching them watching me as I went numb to reality
I walked on in a fog of loss
Hazy my mind stayed trapped in memory
Caught up in a wind storm of emotion I plummeted from our loving high

But I landed gently in your memory

I felt calmer as time went on
Though at times I still feel cloudy before bursting into rain from missing you

You made me strong and with your last words
Told me to live on and grow into the gap you would leave behind in my soul

Separate now but our love carries on
