I don’t care about yesterday

Before you go into explaining the you YOU once were
Or how you got so scar or that scar
I just want to let you know that I don’t care about yesterday
Because right here right now is all that matters to me
I don’t care where you learned that
Who taught it to you
Or if you did do that with some other people
Just as long as you keep doing it to me
I don’t care who hurt you because now that I’m here
I won’t let them hurt you again
Know that I will never do what they did or anything worst
ONLY BETTER
And as long as they didn’t give you any
Deadly
Or
Painful
Or
Unsightly gifts that I can catch from you
Otherwise yesterday is just THE PAST
We all have actions, things, people from long or short ago
That we wish we didn’t have a part of
But as long as they made you a better persons
Some on that makes me glad to give a turd
About last Monday, two months ago or 2002
I’m happy to tell you repeatedly
(This is the last time thought)
I DON’T CARE ABOUT YESTERDAY…and neither should you
