It takes a long time to move on
Spending nights wondering why things went wrong
Confused about how the world keeps turning when what made yours go around is…gone
You stash away the hurt to face reality
Spread a smile across your face to fake away the pain
Play off the sadness and work up the stress
Avoid certain memories but still reject any possibilities of creating something new
Put off opportunities to swim in the past
The get all in a rage when you think about … LOVE
Over time you’re forced to carry on being unable to raise the resting
To insightful to go blind so you see something “nice”
The eye contact becomes unavoidable and thoughts
Feelings
Heads being to rise
The with time you are lead to carry on
No longer alive because you can’t die
But ALIVE because there’s so much to live for
